Pierre KOCH has been appointed as Director of the UTT on September 1st, 2014 by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. He's now running one of the 10 most important Engineering schools in France, with 2.600 students, 175
Ph.D. sudents, 154 Professors, 220 administrative staff, a CNRS-labelled Research institute, partnerships with 183 foreign universities and 3.000 companies, and premises covering 37.354 m2.
UTT is an active partner in the PICADO project, the first one launched in France in the field of medical care at home (« domomédecine »). It has the objective to develop an innovative and multi-purpose technological infrastructure for medical care in domestic environment.
UTT has been for the 3rd time successful in the French government’s Investments for the Future programme. Over a hundred students from the five continents will join UTT for the new academic year to spend a semester or more. An introduction to the French culture is offered to them throughout the month of August to make them discover the French language and the cultural heritage.
