Your route: International
relations > Academic year |
|
|
The university year is divided into 2 semesters
of 17 weeks separated by an intersemester
of 4 weeks (February).
The first semester usually runs from
first week of September until the end of January
and the second semester from the end
of February until the end of June.
The intersemester period should be
an opportunity for students to take part in
cultural or educational activities which,
due to their nature, cannot take place during
a semester : for example a computing session
or an intensive language course.
The UTT has also adopted a cumulative credit
course ("Unité de Valeur") system.
A credit course usually represents an average
of 130 hours of work, (personal and/or supervised).
Generally speaking, one credit course is
worth 4 or 6 ECTS credits (European Credit
Transfer System).
