| The aim of this program is to offer future
researchers of the private or public sectors
a formation that will enable them to design
the information systems of tomorrow. This
implies that they will deal with two areas
which are telecommunication networks (Internet,
Intranet, Quality of Service, ...) and cooperative
work and knowledge management (groupware,
e-business, ...).
Students from network and computer fields
as well as cognitive sciences and management
are welcomed to follow the courses.
Scientific subjects can be classified into
four disciplines:
|
future networks - intelligent communication |
|
cooperative and knowledge engineering |
Scientific themes can be classified into four categories:

|
Computer sciences and artificial intelligence (knowledge representation, intelligent agents, datamining, ...) |

|
Telecommunication networks (the Internet world, QoS, multimedia, monitoring and control, ...) |

|
Knowledge engineering and cognitive sciences (decision support systems, CSCW, multi-agent systems, ...) |

|
Management, sociology and communication applied to information systems (electronic transactions, ...) |
Employment opportunities are numerous both in private and public organizations as there is a strong need for people who can handle the emerging technologies and methods in the field of information systems.
